This PR contains the following updates:

Package Change Age Confidence
FluentFTP 54.2.1 → 55.1.0 age confidence

Release Notes

robinrodricks/FluentFTP (FluentFTP)

v55.1.0

  • FTP Connection
    • New: Improve AutoPassive logic to prefer EPSV with a fallback to PASV
    • Fix: IsStillConnected reaction to reply code 421 (421 reply code does not mean that we are connected)
    • Fix: SanitizePath supports client being null and has predictable behaviour
  • FTPS Security
    • Fix: Data connections no longer accept any server certificate, and will only accept certificates matching the one accepted on the control connection, or pass validation on its own (ValidateAnyCertificate, the ValidateCertificate event, or the default chain and hostname check)
    • New: FtpSslValidationEventArgs.IsDataConnection lets a ValidateCertificate handler apply its own policy to a data connection certificate that differs from the control connection certificate
    • Fix: Cloned FTP clients no longer accept any server certificate before sending credentials, they validate it with the handlers of the client they were cloned from
    • Fix: A rejected data connection certificate is reported as AuthenticationException by both FtpClient and AsyncFtpClient
    • Change: Servers that present a different untrusted certificate on data connections now need a ValidateCertificate handler that accepts it
  • Testing
    • Fix: Apache and Debian paths in Dockerfiles updated to latest
    • Fix: Optimize duplicate code in integration tests of various FTP stream types
    • Fix: BouncyCastle integration tests must test across all test servers

v55.0.0

  • AOT Support
    • New: FluentFTP is now fully AOT ready! This means you can use FluentFTP in projects that use Native Ahead-of-Time (AOT) compilation
    • New: Rewrite core classes for AOT compatibility (Logger, ValuePrinter, FtpAutoDetectConfig, FtpSslStream)
    • New: Add new C# project to test AOT compilation (FluentFTP.AotExamples)
  • BouncyCastle SSL Stream
    • New: FluentFTP now supports a new SSL stream backed by BouncyCastle, which allows us to fix some longstanding issues like SSL session reuse/resume which were failing with the default .NET TlsStream
    • New: Integration tests for BouncyCastle stream under FluentFTP.Tests.Integration NS
    • New: Unit tests for BouncyCastle stream under FluentFTP.Tests.Unit.BouncyCastle NS
